REVIEW: PUREDERM’s Nose Pore Strips with “Tea Tree,”

I just want to share my review on PUREDERM’s Nose Pore Strips with “Tea Tree,” which I bought from Watson’s a few weeks back. I forgot how much it was, but I’m pretty sure it’s fairly inexpensive. Each box contains six (6) Nose Strips and I remembered thinking, “not bad for the price.”

It says on the box that this particular Nose Strip will:

  • Instantly clean your clogged pores
  • Remove blackheads
  • Provide Tea Tree Extract

Exactly what I needed that day, because I felt really awful that blackheads were already inhabiting/invading the top of my nose…So I visited Watson’s to buy an easy-fix for my problem.
When I got home, I immediately tried it out. There are easy-to-follow instructions on how to use the product at the back of the box.

Here is what the product looks like…

I applied it on my nose, followed the instructions at the back of the box and waited for 15 minutes for it to dry. Once it was dry, I peeled it off my nose, and the results were incredible…(please be warned, photos are a bit graphic!)

I’ve never seen so much blackheads/whiteheads (and I guess dead skin cells) before. I was both shocked and amazed; shocked that I had so much dirt and grime on my face but also amazed on how effective
Purederm’s Nose Strip was. I felt the skin on top of my nose and it was so smooth, and it was clean… I really noticed the difference. I was so happy with the results.

Before, I used iWhite Nose Pack for my blackheads. It was a good product as well but I think Purederm Nose Strip did a better job in getting all those unwanted blackheads/whiteheads. iWhite was also messy to apply, Purederm was mess-free and easy-to-use.

Now, I am officially converted to Purederm Nose Pore Strips. I give this product 9/10 ^_^

Hey, about the Etude bubble hair dye, do you need to shampoo after you apply the hair dye or just wash it with water ? Oh and by the way is the purple hair treatment in it a hair treatment cream or a conditioner ? xoxo, Nicole <3

Asked by: tokionicole

Hey nicole!:) no need to shampoo your hair, just wash it off with water. Then apply the conditioner (yes the purple sachet is a conditioner). Make sure to leave the conditioner for about 5 mins. Once you rinse it, your hair will feel really soft! Its amazing!!! I wish etude would sell the conditioner individually… I would really buy it!^_^

How long did the Bubble Hair Coloring of Etude House last? =))) Months? Weeks? Days? =)))

Asked by: superdarlaaa

It lasted for months:) it’s permanent hair dye, so it will last until your hair grows out of it… although after 2 months the color gets a little brownish vs. reddish. I suggest you re-dye your hair after 3 months to keep the color fresh and vibrant:) Hope this helps!

ETUDE HOUSE: Bubble Hair Color in Wine Red

Did you ever have those days when you just feel like you need a new look? Me? It just stroked me recently. I looked in the mirror, and I said to myself… “bored nako sa look ko… pano kaya if I colored my hair ng medyo reddish.” I wanted something new because my hair color always ranged from black to brown.. I actually do color my hair once or twice a year, but I never deviate from the black to brown color pallete, but this time I wanted to try something else… something fiery! That’s when I bought ETUDE HOUSE’s BUBBLE HAIR COLOR in WINE RED. How could I resist? It’s soooo affordable, around P378 per box, I was sooo excited!(^_^)

Other Available Colors: Black , Natural Brown, Dark Brown

Here’s the step-by-step process in using the kit:

  1. Pour the coloring solution from the pink color sachet into the pump bottle.
  2. Mix the contents by carefully tilting the pump bottle back and forth around 10 times (do not shake).
  3. Wear the gloves and the cape.
  4. Pump the product out of the bottle into your hands and then apply to hair.
  5. Start with the roots of your hair. Basically, it’s just like shampooing but make sure you spread the product evenly.
  6. Leave it on your hair for about 30 minutes.
  7. Rinse and condition your hair using the Silky Perfumed Treatment (Leave on hair for 3-5mins then rinse.)
  8. Let your hair dry.

This is me about to use the product…

Waiting for 30mins to pass so I can rinse my hair…

After 30 minutes I rinsed the product off my hair. I got a bit scared for awhile because as I was rinsing, my hair felt all rubbery and dry! But right when I used the Silky Perfumed Treatment, it finally felt soft and super smooth.. .phew!

Anyway, here are my before and after pics. I’m sorry if you can’t quite see the difference because I really had trouble with the lighting. Promise I’ll share photos under natural light so I can share with you the real effect of the color. =)

Note: the photo in the middle was under yellow lighting thus the seemingly lighter hair color (all pics taken without flash).

BEFORE: NATURAL ASH BROWN

AFTER: WITH EH WINE RED

The color was really not that red (or light) as the color in the box…

but the color is visible enough for people to notice the change. I personally heart it! =)

What I Love About The Product

> Affordable at P378 per box

> Product does not dry your hair… Smooth and Silky finish! Gotta love that conditioner that comes with the kit. Smells good too!

> One box is enough for my long hair!

> Smell of product not too strong (compared to other hair coloring products)

> Color is even

What I NOT-SO Love About the Product:

> I experienced a bit of hair fall (although my hair has been experiencing a lot of hair fall lately.)

The FINAL VERDICT: 9/10

I hope this helps… I know I owe you decent after pics.. will post soon! =)
